Ummm!! Home-made Soft Pretzels
Made soft pretzels with my friend the other day and it was both a fail and a win. Failed in that it didn't really taste like a pretzel more like a bagel. Win in that it looked liked a pretzel!!
We basically followed followed Alton Brown's recipe from the Food Network. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/homemade-soft-pretzels-recipe/index.html
And the only thing we changed was instead of baking soda we used baking powder which may have been the cause of why it tasted like a bagel and not a pretzel. We will never know until we try the recipe again with baking soda.
